Join us for an interfaith community gathering at Brighton Unitarian Church for the launch of Refugee Week.

June marks the 75th anniversary of the Refugee Convention, and we are coming together to celebrate the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and asylum seekers, in our community and worldwide. Following an interfaith service, we want to bring our neighbourhood together to share in music, conversation and food to celebrate and affirm Brighton is a city of sanctuary.

The theme of this year’s Refugee Week is ‘Courage’, and we will have speakers, musicians and poets all sharing what Courage means to them.

All are welcome, and food will be pay-as-you-feel.
