Our food bank is only possible through the kind and generous donations we receive from our local community.

We accept food, toiletries and money donations which we distribute weekly to destitute families and individuals. All donations go directly to our food bank clients and those in need.

If you would like to donate to our food bank, please see our donations page for a list of items we currently need. All donations must be in date, unopened and in good condition.

Activities are organised to support group members to:

• Learn about useful services, interesting places and fun activities in Brighton and Hove
• Practise English in a friendly, supportive space
• Build connections and a community of friends
• Improve health and wellbeing
• Get support with accessing digital devices and using the internet
• Use public transport with confidence
• Access information to develop skills and gain employment
• Learn about other groups and volunteering

Groups run from 10-1pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (service users can join one of three groups).

We meet families on arrival, settle them into their new homes and schools, and provide integration assistance, dedicated casework, ESOL classes, welcome and information groups and employability support during their first two years in the UK.

Mental Health
If you require urgent support for mental health please contact the numbers below.
If you cannot keep yourself safe, call 999/111 or go to A&E, now.

• Call the Sussex Mental Healthline on 0800 0309 500. They offer crisis care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone in Sussex needing urgent mental health support.
• If you feel you are not able to keep yourself safe, and do not need immediate medical assistance, you should call the Brighton Mental Health Rapid Response Service who are able to offer immediate support: 0300 304 0078 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week including bank holidays).
• Call the Samaritans on 116 123 www.samaritans.org (for anyone distressed or thinking of suicide, or in crisis)
• If you would prefer support via text you can do so by texting Shout to 85258.

• Applications under Appendix FM to the Immigration Rules on the basis of family life as the parent of a British citizen/child settled in the UK/lived in the UK for 7 years (with a fee waiver if necessary)
• Private life applications based on long residence (with a fee waiver if necessary)
• Refugee family reunion (including complex cases) – Currently paused
• Applications to change conditions – no recourse to public funds
• Registration of children as British citizens (especially if this enables other family members to make applications for status in the UK)
• No Time Limit applications
• Applications under the EU Settlement Scheme
• Discretionary Leave
• Refugee and Home Office travel documents
• Advice regarding your e-visa

We also offer one-off advice via email, as well as immigration casework provided by our qualified caseworker.

New referrals and advice
We are taking requests for immigration advice through our referral form and advice email inbox. We triage every referral on an individual basis and will respond to each referral to advise on our capacity at the time.
